Deeper Life school: Apostle Suleman says mother of ‘molested’ boy using lies, blackmail
Omega Fire Ministry founder Apostle Johnson Suleman has risen in defence of former presidency aide Reno Omokri.
Deborah Okezie, the mother of an 11-year-old boy who was allegedly molested at Deeper Life High School, Uyo, said Omokri threatened her life. She also accused Deeper Life church members of sending her death threats over her determination to get justice for her son.
But Suleman defended Omokri and accused the woman of spreading lies and employing blackmail.
“I just saw a video of a lady saying Reno Omokri called her for accusing Deeper Life church and threatened her life,” Suleman tweeted on Thursday.
“That’s not the Reno I know. I am not surprised. Many people thrive on blackmail so anything should be expected.
“I know the pains of a mother but to add lies is evil,” he said.
Omokri also defended himself in a social media post without naming Deborah.
“I love it when I am falsely accused,” he said.
“It is so sweet. It gives me joy. It sanitises my life. If only you knew the joy of false accusation. It helps you know the dead plants you are watering.
“If you have never known false accusation, you do not know your true friends!
“When you have been falsely accused, do not go to one corner and weep. Go on your knees and thank God. Because you will definitely be vindicated, since God cannot lie.
“And not only that, God will compensate you. Instead of feeling sad, open your eyes. Be on the alert.
“And note those you can count on when push comes to shove.”
