The first meeting of the Federal Executive Council (FEC) is holding at the Presidential Villa, Abuja.
President Muhammadu Buhari is presiding over the gathering.
While Buhari, Vice-President Yemi Osinbajo, and some other members are attending from the Villa, others are participating virtually.
Before the meeting went into a closed-door session, Buhari inaugurated three members of the Code of Conduct Bureau (CCB) and a member of the Police Service Commission (PSC).
They are Ehiozuwa Ogbonayinma, Babatunde Balogun and Benedict Umeano for the CCB and Onyemuche Nnamani of the PSC.
Members also observed a minute silence in honour of two former ministers, Jubril Martins-Kuye and Bala Kaoje, who died recently.
