Nigerian general overseer allegedly sends wife away with 3 children

Eunice Azaka, wife of Pastor Emmanuel Azaka, general overseer of Overcomers Christian Center International (OCCI), says she and their three children have been prevented from entering their Port Harcourt home for about a month.

In a video that has circulated online, Eunice says her family’s belongings remain inside the house while she and the children are barred from returning.

She also alleges her phone was confiscated and that her movements and social media are being monitored.

According to her, appeals to church leaders, neighbours and friends have produced no help.

Describing herself and her children as “homeless,” Eunice asked Nigerians and human-rights groups for urgent assistance.

“We are homeless because our things are still in the house. Please we need help from well meaning Nigerians and human rights activists,” she said in the clip.

There has been no official response yet from Emmanuel Azaka or the leadership of Overcomers Christian Center International.

The video was shared on Instagram by Temilola Sobola, who wrote that the pastor’s wife said she had been chased out of the matrimonial home with their three children and that her phones were seized and her movements monitored.
