Augustine Ogun, the Delta State okada rider who found and returned a forgotten pack of cash to its owner, says he is a member of Bishop David Oyedepo’s church.
Oyedepo is the founder of Winners Chapel.
Ogun found and returned a sum of N700,000 to a market woman who had forgotten the money on his motorcycle.
According to reporting by Church Gist, Ogun’s motorcycle costs less than N350,000.
The market woman had reportedly taken a loan and was on her way to repay it when she forgot it on Ogun’s motorcycle.
When Ogun’s story was aired on TVC’s “Your View”, a viewer transferred the sum of N700,000 to the presenters and instructed them to give it to Ogun.
