Oyo governor Seyi Makinde, on Friday, received new police commissioner Ngozi Onadeko in state capital Ibadan.
“We received the newly appointed Commissioner of Police for Oyo State, Ngozi Onadeko and her entourage who paid us a courtesy visit, this afternoon,” Makinde said after the visit.
“I welcomed them to Oyo State.
“I pledged our administration’s support as they carry out their duties of maintaining law and order in our state.
“I restated that our enemies are not people of any tribe or ethnic group but anyone engaged in criminal activities in the state.”
Makinde also urged Onadeko to arrest those stoking ethnic tension in the state.
