‘Ordinary President’ should be allowed to interview Buhari — Nigerians
Apparently unimpressed with the way Arise TV “pampered” President Muhammadu Buhari during a recorded interview aired on Thursday, some Nigerians are making a radical suggestion.
They want the Nigerian leader to be interview by humanitarian show host Ahmad Isah.
“I feel this man should have been the one to interview Buhari,” a commenter said in a social media post.
Popularly referred to as “Ordinary President,” Isah made a name for himself via Brekete Family Show in which he tackles issues traditional radio and TV programming will not.
Recently, Isah was in the news for the wrong reasons after videos of him apparently assaulting interviews surfaced online.
In one of the videos, Isha dished a hot slap to a woman who allegedly set her niece’s hair on fire because the young girl, according to the woman, was “a witch”.
In another video, Isah is seen slapping a young man who was collecting the names of Brekete show’s physical audience “without permission”.
Could a recent assault on French President Emmanuel Macron be the reason why some Nigerians want Buhari on Isah’s Brekete show?
A man was arrested after slapping the president who was greeting supposed fans during a tour of the country.
