Lagos: ‘Shameless’ politicians now sharing ‘belated palliatives’ from house to house
Some residents in Shomolu area of Lagos woke up to packs to supposed Good Samaritans sharing boxes of noodles on their streets.
A picture sent to The Realm News this morning shows a noodle boxed marked to be shared for free. But it was apparently hoarded when people needed it most.
“They are useless politicians,” a resident around Bajulaiye road told us. “They should have shared this during the lockdown but they didn’t.”
“They now want to seek our mercy after hoarded palliatives were discovered and looted in other areas of Lagos.
“These politicians are just shameless.
“During the lockdown, they were sharing it among their All Progressives Congress (APC) loyalists. They will choose a meeting point and share the package.
“They are now sharing useless noodles from house to house now that no one needs them.
“We will not forget this and we will show them pepper in 2023,” the resident who does not want to be named said.
The Lagos State Government denied hoarding palliatives and blamed the delay in distributing them on the EndSARS protests.
