Kano: Youths flog APC lawmaker over ‘fake promises’
The youths are angry but is violence the answer?
Tijjani Abdulkadir Jobe is not having it easy with the young people in his constituency.
The All Progressives Congress (APC) lawmaker representing Dawakin Tofa/Tofa and Rimin Gado Federal Constituency in Kano State, was attacked by angry youth who accused him of failing to live up to his electoral promises.
Jobe had reportedly gone to inaugurate a project at Gulu village on Sunday when the angry youths descended on him and beat him to a pulp, reports say.
“He was given severe beating by the angry youth on Sunday,” a source was quoted to have said.
“They said they attacked him because of his fake promises for many years.”
