COVID-19: Buhari receives second dose of AstraZeneca vaccine

President Muhammadu Buhari has received the second dose of AstraZeneca’s COVID-19 vaccine.

The vaccination took place at the presidential villa, Abuja, on Saturday.

In March, Buhari had received the first dose of the vaccine alongside Vice-President Yemi Osinbajo.

The jab is expected to provide protection again contracting the coronavirus or becoming seriously ill if infected.
