A small group of Nigerians have said they spotted what could well be an “out of this world” spaceship in Sunday’s night sky.
One of the men, Ernest Okoduwa, said the unidentified flying object, or UFO, vanished before he could pull out his smartphone to film it.
When The Realm News asked him if he was sure about what he claimed to have seen, Okoduwa said “yes, very real”.
We asked him about what exactly he thought he saw. He said, “I don’t know. But it is nothing that I have seen before; completely weird and out of this realm”.
Okoduwa had said in a Facebook post:
“This may be hard to believe. We just sighted in the sky a mysterious flying saucer with beamed light in Ayiin, Logo Benue. It disappeared before I could record.”
He said he was not alone when the UFO appeared.
“I was there,” another person identified as Jo Abah commented on the post. “I saw it myself and informed him (Okoduwa) to come look at it. But before he could record, it vanished. That was something different from a plane as per the way the lights were beamed. This is real.”
Okoduwa later posted a comment on the Facebook thread to reiterate that he was not pranking around.
“Just to be clear,” he said, “this post is not a joke or hoax. I mean everything I wrote down here.”
“The object had a ball-like outline and was moving slowly and somewhat, deliberately. It’s beamed light was angular, ultra bright, streamed and seemingly rotating on its axis.
“There is nothing that I know that is capable of such maneuvering. It immediately disengage the light and disappeared or better still dissolved into the nighty clouds before I could record.
“Thank God I did not witness this phenomenon alone. I was sitting out in front of the hotel with two other people, including Jo Abah who first drew my attention to the mysterious object. It is strange!
“The most important part of this sighting which took place at about 7:30 pm is that I felt that the light deliberately revealed itself to us.
“More, I had the nudging that the light was aware of me and my intent to record and document the experience.
“I make this conclusion because the moment I stood up and moved to record, it kind of read my thoughts and disappeared. This is my perception of the event. It may as well just be a coincidence.”
Aliens, that is, supposedly super-intelligent living beings from other planets, may be real or fake, but reports of UFO sightings around the world are not new. Some believe those UFOs are ultra-advanced government fighter jets. Others think they are otherworldly surveillance aircrafts piloted by real aliens to prove their existence to humans.
What is new was the decision of the Pentagon, the US Department of Defence, to, in 2019, confirm that some UFO videos that were leaked in 2007, was actually legit. Then in April of 2020, the US government officially released three of the videos saying they were real. One of the videos was apparently a UFO sighting that purportedly took place in 2004.
More recently, December 4 to be precise, Israel’s Yediot Aharonot newspaper ran an interview it had with Haim Eshed, a former head of the country’s Defense Ministry’s space directorate.
Eshed said that humans have been in contact with aliens from a “galactic federation.”
“The Unidentified Flying Objects (UFOs) have asked not to publish that they are here, humanity is not ready yet,” Eshed, who is currently publicising his new book on extraterrestrials, said.
Eshed said cooperation agreements had been signed between species, including an “underground base in the depths of Mars” where there are American astronauts and alien representatives, NBC News reported.
“There is an agreement between the U.S. government and the aliens. They signed a contract with us to do experiments here,” he said.
Eshed added that President Donald Trump was aware of the extraterrestrials’ existence and had been “on the verge of revealing” information but was asked not to in order to prevent “mass hysteria.”
“They have been waiting until today for humanity to develop and reach a stage where we will understand, in general, what space and spaceships are,” Eshed said, referring to the so-called galactic federation.
We’ve been through so much in 2020. Let’s hope it doesn’t end with an alien invasion.
