RCCG: Adeboye’s wife sends small chops as son leads EndSARS protesters in prayer

Nigeria’s number one “Mummy G. O.” Foluke Adeboye has sent some munchies and drinks to EndSARS protesters in Lagos.

The protesters, who are calling for comprehensive police reform, had gathered at the state house in Alausa, Ikeja for a Sunday morning worship.

Foluke, who is wife of Enoch A. Adeboye, the general overseer of the Redeemed Christian Church of God (RCCG), sent in three trucks containing 27 packs of bottle water, 1000 bags of “pure” water and 27 bags of puffpuff (or small chops).

Foluke’s son, Leke, also took to the stage to lead a five-minute prayer at the protest ground.

“I want all of us to know that this nation has been handed over to us slowly but surely by this singular move that we are all here representing our families, friends and nation,” Leke Adeboye said.

“This is the beginning of the new Nigeria.

“Father, please touch my nation! Please touch our leaders! Please touch me!

“Oh Lord! Touch this nation. Touch our leaders, touch their hearts, touch their ears, touch their brains so that this nation can be greater and become nation that we want in Jesus name.”

Pastor Adeboye and the RCCG had officially endorsed the protest.
