Victor Osimhen dedicates first Napoli goal to EndSARS
Super Eagles striker Victor Osimhen has dedicated his first Napoli goal to EndSARS, a movement of protesters calling for an end to police brutality in Nigeria.
Osimhen’s goal came in the 43rd minute of Napoli’s Serie A encounter with Atalanta on Saturday.
After netting the maiden goal, Osimhen held up a t-shirt branded with the hashtag and words “#EndPoliceBrutality in Nigeria”.
That is not the first time Osimhen expressed his support for EndSARS.

The hashtag is one of the several EndSARS protesters have adopted in their call for a comprehensive police reform. And Osimhen is not the first Nigerian athlete to back the movement.
After scoring 18 times for French club Lille last season, Osimhen moved to Napoli for a club record fee of $96 million.
Napoli went on to beat Atalanta 4-1.
