At least two protesters were reportedly killed in Osun after suspected thugs disrupted an EndSARS rally in the state capital Osogbo.
Activist Deji Adeyanju alleged that the protesters were killed by members of Governor Adegboyega Oyetola’s convoy.
But the governor’s team accused hoodlums of disrupting the protest and attacking Oyetola’s convoy. The attack allegedly began while Oyetola was addressing protesters.
There are controversial reports coming from Osun as we speak.
Another unconfirmed version of the incident has it that no less than five protesters were killed after Oyetola himself shot at protesters and ordered his driver to do the same. Oyetola also allegedly had some thugs in his company.
Several activists, including Revolution Now campaigner Olawale Adebayo Bakare alias Mandate, are also feared to have been abducted by DSS operatives.
