Sanwo-Olu commissions 216 homes in Lagos
Governor Babajide Sanwo-Olu says by commission tens of homes, he has “further increased the stock of available houses for Lagos residents”.
Sanwo-Olu made the comment after unveiling of 216 homes in the state on Wednesday.
“It was with great pleasure that I commissioned 132 LagosHOMS at Iponri, Surulere which we have named after former Governor Babatunde Raji Fashola,” he said.
“With our joint venture partner, we also delivered another 84-unit Lekki Phase II Housing Scheme in Ikota.
“These feats mark a successful collaborative effort geared towards bridging the housing deficit in the state.
“To round off the day’s activities, we also commissioned a new two-storey complex for the National Veterinary Research Institute with modern facilities and a laboratory for animal health surveillance,” he said.
