Panic as men in army uniform enter Lagos on luxury buses

There are fears of attacks in Lagos following reports of the influx of scores of men dressed in military uniform.
A photo shared on social media on Tuesday showed the men in army uniform arriving Lagos on a luxury bus.
“What is happening in Nigeria? 2 luxury buses and HIACE buses filled with soldiers just entered Lagos. They just passed Ojota now,” @yemi4tweet, who shared the photo, posted on Twitter raising concerns over the movement.
Several commenters pointed out that soldiers don’t travel in large numbers via public transport.

Others voiced concern about a possible plot to attack Lagos with “unknown gunmen,” the insecurity phenomenon currently plaguing the South-East.
But other tweeters called for calm saying that soldiers were free to move about like other Nigerians.
