Katsina: Buhari snubs Kankara parents, visits cows instead
As parents of the students bandits kidnapped from a school in Katsina continue to wait for a presidential visit, a video has surfaced online showing President Muhammadu Buhari checking on his cows.
At least 520 students of Government Science Secondary School, Kankara are reportedly unaccounted for after bandits attacked their school on Friday night.
But Buhari, who is in Daura, Katsina refused to visit the parents. He sent a government delegation instead.
The president, according to a video Sahara Reporters posted online today, had time to check on his farm where cows are reared.
Daura is a three-hour drive from Kankara. Buhari can make it there in minutes if he travels by air.
The president has, however, decided to go on a week-long private visit despite the myraid of challenges facing Nigeria.
