YabaTech academic board meets over school resumption
Yaba College of Technology (YabaTech) students could soon be told to return to class, an official memo confirmed by a credible source suggests.
The school, and all others in Nigeria, was shut as part of lockdown measures to protest students and lecturers from the coronavirus pandemic.
YabaTech’s academic board will, however, now meet by 10am on Tuesday to determine when students can return to the classroom, an official memo seen by The Realm News says.
The memo comes days after the federal government lifted the ban on in-person classes to allow all schools reopen from October 12.
A YabaTech lecturer who does not want to be named confirmed the authenticity of the memo.
