VIDEO: Unpaid pensioners protest against FAAN in Lagos

Pensioners have stormed the Lagos headquarters annexe of the Federal Airports Authority of Nigeria (FAAN) over unpaid benefits.
The retired airport workers accused FAAN, a federal government agency, of withholding their monetary benefits.
“Pay us our money,” a placard carried by one of the old protesters reads. “You are our nightmare,” another placard reads.
“We do not know where all the monies generated by FAAN employees are kept,” a visibly frustrated pensioner told The Realm News on Tuesday morning.
“Every financial information is shrewd in secrecy. FAAN is in a deep financial crisis. Even salaries and other allowances are not being paid. This is a grade ‘A’ organisation that generates money every second,” the pensioner said.
