Suspended Ogun commissioner was framed by political enemies, man claims
Ogun environment commissioner Abiodun Abudu-Balogun was suspended after he was accused of sexually harassing a 16-year-old girl.
But a man on Facebook is claiming that the suspended commissioner was framed by political enemies.
“In the little time, I would expose those behind the blackmail of Abudu-Balogun,” Ibrahim Adegbokiki vowed on Monday morning.
“The commissioner played into the hands of his opponents and some journalists in Ogun state who had invited the commissioner on many occasions for interview, but the commissioner virtually avoided them.
“A journalist mentioned on Splash FM that the commissioner do bar line of journalists from reaching out him.
“Those who hate Governor Dapo Abiodun’s government also used the opportunity to take a pound of flesh, as if they were eye witnesses.
“The father of the 16-year-old girl is one of the commissioner’s opponents while her blood brother who took the girl to the commissioner is in the commissioner’s political camp.
“The chairman of the local government area is also one of the commissioner’s opponents.
“Ogun Waterside politics is do or die.
“Since the people there are in the riverine area, they are also like Niger Delta militants. They had been in opposition to every government for the past years, until recent time.
“This is a lesson for all appointees to learn from. If you are public figure, you need a good and strong media team to propagate your activities. You don’t need to run away from media.”
