Police RRS storms Ikorodu, dares armed robbers to strike on Christmas Day
The police has given a robust response to the suspected armed robbers who vowed to attack residents of Ikorodu area of Lagos this festive season.
Weeks ago, a said gang which called itself “Team 13” vowed to attack Dejuwogbo, an area around Ota Ona going towards Itamaga, before, during and after Christmas Day.
On Christmas Eve, the Rapid Response Squad (RRS) deployed officers to Ikorodu and its environs to ensure security this Yuletide.
The police team was lead by RRS commander CSP Yinka Egbeyemi.

The team visited communities where robbers had reportedly announced their visit via posters and requested community members to cooperate with them.
Egbeyemi directed the injection of additional patrol vehicles to reinforce the presence of RRS patrol teams while the Decoy Team of the squad complement the efforts of the patrol teams.
