Pastor Adeboye snubs Apostle Suleman, refuses to preach at Omega Fire Ministries
Redeemed Christian Church of God (RCCG) leader Pastor Enoch Adeboye has failed to attend an annual programme of the Omega Fire Ministries (OFM).
Adeboye was invited by OFM founder Apostle Johnson Suleman who has been accused of hypnotising another man’s wife and sleeping with her in the presence of her baby daughter.
Suleman also recently admitted he threatened to make a lady disappear and die prematurely.
Adeboye refused to attend the Sunday event.
OFM started its annual thanksgiving programme on February 9. The event was tagged “Ebenezer 2021″ and themed “The Glory of God”. It held in Auchi, Edo State. The event was also held to mark OFM’s 17th Anniversary.
But as the programme ended on Sunday, February 14, respected RCCG general overseer Adeboye did not show up.
Top sources in the church said Adeboye’s absence might be connected to the fresh allegations of sexual impropriety rocking Suleman and his church.
“Pastor Adeboye did not come for the programme,” a source told Sahara Reporters.
“He was conspicuously absent. He did not give any reason for his absence.”
Suleman is also currently locked in a legal battle with former OFM pastor Mike Davids. He is the one who accused the OFM general overseer of marital infidelity.
Davids’ wife Faith Edeko, who heads OFM Abuja, however, denied the allegations. Suleman did too and sued Davids for alleged libel. He wants N5 billion in damages.
Davids has also dragged Suleman to court over alleged marital interference and wants N2 billion in damages.
