NECO gets acting boss following death of former registrar
Obikinibina Ogborodo has been appointed as the Acting Registrar and Chief Executive Officer of the National Examination Council (NECO).
The appointment of Ogborodo followed the death of the immediate past Registrar and Chief Executive Officer, Professor Godswill Obioma on Monday.
A circular signed by the Director, Human Resources, Mustapha Abdul, said the Acting Registrar’s appointment was approved by the Governing Board members, during an emergency meeting, which held on Wednesday, at the Council’s National Headquarters in Minna, the Niger state capital.
Until his appointment, the Acting Registrar was the most Senior Director in the Council. He was the Director of Special Duties.
