A police station is on fire in Orile Iganmu area of Lagos.
The fire incident began on Tuesday morning as protesters continue to demonstrate against police brutality.
Witnesses are blaming the incident on thugs whom they accuse of hijacking the peaceful protests to cause mayhem.
Demonstrators allege that the Nigerian government is sponsoring hoodlums to cause chaos and discredit the demonstrations being carried out under the banner of EndSARS. The chaos would then justify the deployment of soldiers to crush the protests, they say.
Echoing the voice of Governor Babajide Sanwo-Olu, former Lagos governor Bola Ahmed Tinubu, on Tuesday, urged protesters to leave the streets and allow the government implement promised reforms.
Tinubu said President Muhammadu Buhari would be justified to use force if the protests degenerate into anarchy.
