Kenechukwu Okeke: ‘Activist’ drags Pastor Sam Adeyemi, 49 others to court for ‘promoting EndSARS riots’
A human rights activist and self-proclaimed “messanger of God” has dragged 50 persons to court over their role in, according to him, promoting EndSARS riots.
EndSARS protesters used their platform to demonstrate against law enforcement brutality and demand for comprehensive police reform.
But the peaceful protesters were attacked by thugs allegedly sponsored by the government. President Muhammadu Buhari and Nigerian governors have openly blamed the violence that marred the demonstrations on thugs, and not on the protesters which they described as peaceful.
But Kenechuckwu Okeke has decided otherwise. He wants the prominent Nigerians who lend their platforms to the EndSARS protests be charged with the crime of “promoting riots”.
“Having initiated criminal proceedings against the EndSARS riots promoters at exactly 1052hrs WAT, 09/11/2020, we shall ensure that same is diligently prosecuted in the interest of defence, public safety and public order,” Okeke said.
“The Federal Republic of Nigeria is country of laws.”
Top on the list of the Okeke’s alleged criminals are human rights activist Aisha Yesufu and prominent Nigerian pastor Sam Adeyemi.
Artistes Davido, the Okoye twins, TuFace Idibia, Yemi Alade, Banky W and others also mafe the list. Also on the list is world football and national hero legend Nwankwo Kanu. Many Nigerians have gone online to ask that their names be included.

Activist Deji Adeyanju, who also made the list, said he has asked one of his lawyers to mount a defence against the laughable court case.
Adeyanju also warned that a “second wave of protest” is coming.
