If you can’t tolerate a mask, don’t wear it — Lagos government
“There are specific instances when wearing a mask may not be feasible,” the Lagos State Government has said.
“In these instances, let’s consider adaptations and alternatives,” the government said on Monday via a Facebook post.
The advice trails new COVID-19 restrictions handed out in the wake of what experts are calling a second wave of coronavirus infections.
As part of the new guidelines, people are expected to wear masks before being allowed to enter public buildings.
Private businesses are also told to ensure mask wearing and other guidelines.
But a government notice said children below the age of two and adults who experience breathing difficulty while wearing a mask should be exempted.
