ENDSARS: Lagos panel bans mobile phones
The Lagos judicial panel of inquiry on allegations of police brutality has reportedly banned the use of mobile phones while in session.
Activists and other Nigerians have been attending panel hearings and using their mobile phones to update the public on the deliberations of the panel.
The panel is also investigating the alleged killing of ENDSARS protesters by Nigerian soldiers at the Lekki Toll Plaza on October 30.
With the reported ban on phones, Nigerians would now have to rely on the media to know what’s going on at the panel, observers say.
