Bandits kidnap many female students from Kaduna school
Gunmen have abducted students of the Federal College of Forestry Mechanism in Mando area of Kaduna.
A witness told BBC News that half of the female students were taken but not a single male was abducted.
Commissioner for Internal Security and Home Affairs, Samuel Aruwan, has confirmed the incident, saying investigation is ongoing.
The Mando girls abduction follows similar attacks in Zamfara and Niger states where bandits recently kidnapped schoolgirls and boys who were later released following negotiations with the Nigerian government.
