Bandits ‘demand N150 million ransom for kidnapped Taraba lawmaker’
Bashir Mohammed, a member of the Taraba State House of Assembly who was kidnapped recently, will, according to reports, not be released until his abductors are paid N150 million ransom.
Mohammed represents Nguroje Constituency in the Sardauna Local Government Area of the state.
He was abducted in his residence in Jalingo on Wednesday.
His family is now negotiating with the bandits who kidnapped the lawmaker, reports say.
The kidnappers have reportedly demanded N150 million ransom to free the lawmaker.
