2023: Senate president Ahmed Lawan ‘accepts’ N100 million APC form, joins presidential race

President of the Senate, Ahmad Ibrahim Lawan, has formally joined the race for the 2023 presidential election under the platform of the All Progressives Congress (APC).

Lawan joined the race after accepting the Expression of Interest and Nomination form purchased for him by a group of Nigerians led by the Chairman of National Stability Project, Chief Sam Nkire, at his official residence, a social media statement from his office said.
