RRS: Drama as driver with ‘dubious’ number plates resists police arrest
Lagos-based Rapid Response Squad (RRS) of the Nigeria Police Force shared the following story on Tuesday night.
“This vehicle (pictured above) was accosted because the driver covered his number plates.
“The driver was then arrested. But on the way to the police station, he bolted and was subsequently re-arrested.
“After this, he insisted that he wouldn’t move until his boss arrived.
“He kept us waiting for one hour, twenty minutes before our towing vehicle towed the vehicle to the police station.
“It was later discovered that the number plates on the vehicle was for a different vehicle.
“The driver will have his day in court.”
