NMMP: Metering registration exercise begins in Lagos community after Ikeja Electric agreement

Residents of Kajola community have began registering for the federal government’s National Mass Metering Programme (NMMP).

Kajola is a community in Fadeyi area of Lagos.

The registration began following a dispute resolution meeting between the community and Ikeja Electric.

Both parties had been at loggerheads over outrageous billing and poor power supply but they were able to settle their differences, a resident told The Realm News.

“Registration for National Mass Metering Programme and Debt Resolution Engagement on the Fadeyi feeder, holding at Ogunjobi/Ereko street Fadeyi,” Ikeja Electric announced in a Facebook post on Saturday.
