COVID-19: Trump, wife test positive for coronavirus

US President Donald Trump and his wife Melania have gone into isolation as part of their coronavirus recovery process.

The president made this known moments ago after announcing that the couple tested positive for SARS-Cov-2, the pathogen that causes the coronavirus disease, COVID-19.

Trump’s announcement came some one hour and thirty minutes after the president revealed that White House aide Hope Hicks had also tested positive for the virus.
